Picturesque Mt. Hood views and easy water access make this a go to paddle.
Located just outside the town of Parkdale, Laurance Lake offers great views of Mt. Hood, and also has easy access to the water. While you are up that way make sure to stop in Parkdale for food/drinks. Our favorite place happens to be Solera Brewery. They have an amazing view of Mount Hood from their outdoor seating. There are also a myriad of wineries in the upper valley where you can reward yourself after a great paddle.
Access Information
We recommend parking and going out from the South side of the Lake. The water here is cold, so make sure to get your SUP pumped up nice and tight as it will deflate slightly when it hits the water.
