A hefty hike down some stairs means you will almost certainly have this beautiful alpine lake to yourself.
We recommend this location only for people that consider themselves in great shape. It is about a 5 - 10 minute hike down some stairs to reach the edge of the lake. You will likely have the lake to yourself! It is a beautiful mountain lake with some great hikes around if you are feeling extra adventurous. There are campsites here as well, although they will fill up quickly in the summertime.
Access
There is really only one way to go to the lake from the parking lot and it will be obvious. Once you are down the hill access to the water is very easy.
Campground Info
There are only 5 tent sites here, and they are first come first serve. So if you want a chance at a site you will have to get here early and hope that one opens up. There is no drinking water at the campground.
